Privacy Policy

This describes exactly what Toolora stores about you, why, and who else it reaches. It is written to match what the software actually does rather than to cover every eventuality.

What we store

Enquiries. If you use the contact form, we store the name, email address and message you give. If you send an app-check report, we also store the address you checked and the report you saw, so the reply can pick up where you left off. No account is needed and nothing else is attached.

App checks. The address you paste into the free check is fetched to build the report and is not stored — unless you choose to send the report to us, as above.

The live demo. The message you type into the demo on the home page is sent to the AI provider to write the reply and is not saved.

If you have an account

Accounts on this site aren't sold or advertised; they exist for the tools behind the login. If you have one, we also store:

The account itself. Your name, your email address, and a one-way hash of your password. The hash cannot be turned back into your password — we never hold the password itself and cannot tell you what it is.

What you put into the tools, and what comes out. Every time you press Generate we save the text you entered and the result you were given, linked to your account, so you can find it again. If you type something confidential into a tool, that text is stored — so please don't put anything in that you would not want kept.

Invoices you save. The business and customer details and line items you typed, so you can open them again. An invoice you only download or print is never sent to us.

A usage count. How many times the tools have run for your account, so AI costs stay bounded.

What we don't do

The only measurement on this site is Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights, which count page visits and how fast pages load. They set no cookies and don't identify you. There are no advertising pixels and no other trackers. We do not build a profile of you, and we do not sell, rent or share your data with anyone for marketing.

The only cookie we set is the one that keeps you logged in. It exists so the site knows it is you between pages; it is not used to follow you anywhere else.

Who else sees your data

Running the service means some data passes through other companies. These are all of them, and exactly what each one receives:

  • Anthropic

Runs the AI tools and the live demo

The text you type into an AI tool or the demo, and the result it produces. Your name, email address and password are never sent.

  • Neon

    Hosts the PostgreSQL database

Everything described above as stored: enquiries, and account data if you have an account.

  • Resend

    Delivers email

When you send an enquiry, your name, email address and message, emailed to me so I can reply. For accounts, your email address and the confirmation or password-reset message.

  • Vercel

Hosts the application and measures visits and page speed

Standard request data such as IP address, sent by your browser to load the site, and cookie-free page-visit and page-speed counts from Web Analytics and Speed Insights.

Beyond these, we disclose data only where the law genuinely requires it.

How long we keep it

Your account and everything in it stays until you ask us to delete it. When you do, the account, your saved tool results and your invoices are removed from the live database. We keep no shadow copy, though a deleted record may persist in routine database backups for a short period before those rotate out.

Your choices

You can see and change your name and email in your settings, and change your password through the reset flow at any time.

To get a copy of your data, or to have your account and everything in it deleted, email aadil@toolora.app from the address on the account. We will action it rather than ask you why.

Security

Passwords are hashed with bcrypt. The connection to the site is encrypted. Access to the admin area is checked on the server on every request, not merely hidden in the interface, and one account cannot read another's data.

No service can promise it will never be breached. If a breach affects your data, we will tell you what happened and what to do about it.

Children

Toolora is a business tool and is not intended for anyone under 16. We do not knowingly keep data about children; if you believe we have, email us and we will remove it.

Changes, and getting in touch

If this policy changes in a way that affects you, we will say so here and update the date at the top. Questions go to aadil@toolora.app, or through the contact page.
